Begin Here…
If you’re on this page, then perhaps you’re a new Mumford & Sons fan, or maybe you’re a long-time fan and you’re looking for some of the classic videos, recordings, interviews, and more. In any case, here are some of the basic resources for all Mumford & Sons fans:
- “The Cave” music video. But wait! It’s the VH1 Pop-Up Video version, so that you can learn some little tidbits about the band! And who doesn’t love Pop-Up Video?
- Arguably one of the best and most hilarious M&S interviews of all time. Click here for the HQ version viewable only in the US, and click here for the version viewable worldwide.
- “Honestly, the best interview that’s ever happened, anywhere.”
- The Gentlemen of the Road Documentary, Parts One, Two, Three, and Four.
- Mumford & Sons (Live)’s Best of Banters with Mumford & Sons video. Watch this if you want to laugh at the boys. A lot.
- Some of the other best fan videos of the boys chatting on stage: the one with the popcorn banter, the one where they trade instruments (AKA-Winnie likes to taunt Marcus on stage), the one where Ben’s fly is down and Marcus can’t grow a real mustache, and the one where Marcus gets back at Winnie by calling him a dickhead on stage.
- M&S playing at an event for Invisible Children. Not only are they talented musicians, but they have good hearts and support this great cause. Click here to learn how you can support Invisible Children in honor of M&S, and maybe win the Sigh No More Deluxe Edition or a M&S hoodie!
- Some professionally shot live performances that you must see: “The Cave” in Boston, “Dust Bowl Dance” at Glastonbury 2010, “Nothing is Written” Toad Session, and new song “Below My Feet” at Glastonbury 2011.
- Some live audio clips you should hear: new song “Lover’s Eyes” at Hyde Park 2011, “Awake My Soul,” at the 2011 Telluride Bluegrass Festival with Jerry Douglas, Bela Fleck, and Abigail Washburn, and new song “Lover of the Light” at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.
- The infamous “Titties Interview.” If you don’t know, just watch. And maybe turn down the volume if you’re watching at work or school.
- If you’ve ever heard anyone refer to Ted as the “Dapper Ninja,” this is the origin of that moniker. Once you’ve seen that, click here and have some laughs at all the Chuck Norris style “Ted Dwane Facts.”
I realize that’s a lot and I’m sure there are many other things that you should check out that I haven’t included. Please feel free to explore the audio archives, video archives, or (if you’re looking for a particular song) the comprehensive and clickable Song Finder, and you can also explore using the Navigation Links page. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions or requests!
Enjoy!
