So here’s the thing…
As a fan of Supernatural and their fairly epic fannish charity drives up to and including Random Acts, a non-profit put together by one of their actors and which has raised tens of thousands of dollars, I’ve been thinking about this feeling.
This giddy feeling. If you’re reading this, I bet you know it well. And putting it to use in some way. When I saw the videos on invisiblechildren.com that incorporate the band’s music, the IC folks talking about how moved they were by Mumford and Sons and now, the blatant connection when Ben talked about seeing those videos and finding a cause in them, it seemed like an obvious place to start.
Maybe it’s not the only place.
I don’t think I’m alone in this (totally not trying to quote the band, but per usual, what they say fits)…so if you have thoughts about what this nebulous plan could be or should be or anything related to this project - drop me an ask.
Currently, I’ve just upped the goal to $1000 by the end of the year.
I consider this just something I’ve started, but something that belongs to anyone who wants in.
