From Denver Metromix: A Quickie Q&A with Mumford and Sons
- Interviewer: “Mumford and Sons” sounds one of those small companies that adds something like “since 1845” after its name.
- Ben Lovett: That's right! Mumford and Sons. Since 2007. Doesn't quite have the same ring to it, does it?
- Interviewer: Did any of you have a family business you would’ve gone into if you weren’t playing music?
- Ben Lovett: My family's got a turkey farm in Wales which has been there for hundreds of years. But I don't think I would have got into that if the music thing didn't work out. Marcus and Winston worked in Win's mum's antique shop for a while. And I guess if we hadn't managed to keep touring, they may possibly still be there!
