I think I honesty had one of the best evenings of my life tonight.
I arrived at King Charles early and was one of the first there, he came out the front and I got to finally have a photo taken with him after 3 attempts!
I then went on to have an incredible time at the gig, Giovanna Marshall is absolutely beautiful and as are We Were Evergreen and obviously the King himself.
I walked out of the venue and was sticking around for a bit to see if King Charles could sign my ticket and spotted WINSTON MARSHALL. I went up behind him and kept saying Winston and Winnie but I have a quite voice so he didn’t hear me. I ended up tapping him on the shoulder and asking for a photograph. He shook my hand and said “hello, I’m Winston, what’s your name?”, I then told him my name and said that I am a big fan of his and the rest of the band and he said it means a lot and put his arm around me and then posed for the photograph. He was so lovely and a gentlemen. Best end to a perfect day.

Mumford & Sons’ setlist for Torquay, annotated by Ben Lovett!
Fan experience and photo submitted by benjcullen:
Last night (21st November) I saw Mumford at The Princess Theatre in Torquay. After the show I went to the stage door where I met Ben! I asked him to sign the setlist that a member of the crew had given me a moment earlier. He took about two minutes to sign it, and when he gave it back I realised he had also annotated it with all the last-minute changes they’d made!
Fantastic! Thank you for sharing!

This weekend I saw Mumford and Sons two times, in two very different venues, met Marcus and Winston, and met some great people with a shared love/obsession of music. That is my definition of an unbeatable couple days. So grateful, sign that off my list.
Thank you for sharing!

A Mumford & Sons Fan Experience: As the moon hung proud and bright, you would have loved it here tonight.
My Red Rocks Experience
With a full moon towering over monolithic rocks, Mumford & Sons came on the stage for night two at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Apparently last night they were only warming up, because tonight’s performance was epic with a side of unforgettable. The energy blew off that stage and rolled up the seats of the venue like a tidal wave; people were singing, dancing, clapping, waving their hands in the air like they were at church. And that’s exactly what it felt like…a spiritual journey that started with “I walk slow, take my hand, help me on my way,” and ended with “I get by with a little help from my friends.”
This is a breathtaking account of Mumford & Sons’ show at Red Rocks on August 29, 2012. Everyone should read it, especially if you’ve never been to a Mumford & Sons concert. Thank you so much for sharing.

I saw your ask about the Mumford tattoos and how you asked for them to submit. This is the tattoo I got back in January. This band means the world to me and with Little Lion Man being the first song I heard of theirs, I couldn’t think of anything better to be my first tattoo. :) Unfortunately, (and I’d like to inform anyone else who is thinking about this tattoo) the lion logo would have to be incredibly large to prevent the spreading ink from ruining the detail later in life, so I had to settle on just the lion’s head (which I am perfectly okay with). I hope all your followers enjoy this one :) -littlelionchick

Mumford and Sons in Verona, July 2 2012 - Teatro Romano.
The guys left the main stage and gave to us an astonishing acapella performance of “Sister” on the balcony of San Siro and Santa Libera’s church. Marcus trying to shush the audience with an amazing and sweet smile made my day. The atmosphere was unique and even a week after this performace every single time I watch it, it gives me the chills. I love them.
The animated GIFS I made were captured from this YouTube video.

A Mumford & Sons Fan Experience: When I met Ben Lovett at Rock Werchter 2012

I just came back from Belgium, and it already feels like it happened ages ago. Actually it kinda feels like it never really happened. Maybe because it was so so great, it feels like it was too good not to be just a dream.

I just want to share that I've been at my first M&S consert ever at Peace & Love and it was so magical! I really think that this whole thing with Marcus' broken hand, is really unique. Not that I don't want Marcus to play his guitar, drums and mandolin. But oh my, when he was playing with that little drum of his, the music got a more inforced sound and Marcus was so intense! I still feel sorry for Marcus and the whole band. But it was really emotinal when Marcus played the guitar to Timshel! <3

Hiya! Love the blog, can't that you enough for all you've done for your fellow fans. A while back I read a fan experience that mentioned Benji knocking over the organ and nearly hitting said fan. Would you know anything about how I can find that text?
Hey there! It’s my pleasure.
If you’re talking about this incident:
…I do know how you can find that text and the photos that accompany it. I linked to it here on Mumford & Sons Blog, but the original text was written by growingbackwardswithtime about the Mumford & Sons concert at the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta on November 7, 2010. You can read her account and see all her pictures here. Enjoy, and please do not repost this or any of her other photos without credit. Thank you!
