In October 2011, Mumford & Sons took part in Neil and Pegi Young’s Bridge School Benefit Concert. As part of their time spent at the Bridge School, the band members sat down with some of the students for interviews, such as the one in this video. You can watch Marcus and Ben chat with another student here.

Apparently, Neil Young has the best sound system in the world in his car and Mumford & Sons, as well as greats Tom Petty, Flea, David Crosby, Kid Rock, and more, experience it first hand in this video. That’s right. This is a video of Mumford & Sons sitting in—and then talking about sitting in—Neil Young’s car at Bonnaroo 2011. Enjoy.

It sort of amazes me how much time and effort you put into this blog, it's organised so brilliantly and you hold these competitions out of your own money and you get nothing out of this. So I just wanted to say thank you for putting all your time and effort into this for the Mumford tumblr community, and for how hard you work to make it easy to find everything for the fans. *Internet hug*
Really and truly, thank you. I keep this blog because I believe in music and how it can connect and heal people, and I believe in Mumford & Sons’ music. With all that said, sure I may invest some of my own money (and a lot of my time) into this blog and related projects, but if more fans are reached by the boys’ music and more support is raised for charities the band support, then I feel I’ve done my proverbial job (shameless self-promotion: I maintain that, were Glassnote Music, Island Records, or M&S to offer me an actual job, I would take it with no questions asked).
Speaking of charities Mumford & Sons support, I am very aware that you, andwearebasiclife, have been campaigning to raise support for Neil and Pegi Young’s Bridge School in California. If any of my followers are unaware, this is one of the charities that M&S support and the Mumfords played the Bridge School Benefit concerts back in October. I encourage everyone to research the Bridge School and consider supporting them in any way you can. Perhaps the place to begin is by watching this video by andwearbasiclife.
